About the Opportunity
Cleared are supporting a Federal Government department seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex ICT initiatives within a secure and high-profile environment.
This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives and governance requirements. You will work closely with technical teams, delivery partners, and senior stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes across a range of ICT programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, ensuring successful outcomes against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and governance artefacts
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and delivery partners
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular communication and project updates
• Oversee procurement and contract management activities where required
• Monitor project performance, analyse delivery outcomes, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Prepare high-quality project documentation, reports, submissions, and executive briefings
• Support governance forums and provide reporting to senior leadership and decision-making committees
• Mentor and support project team members, promoting best-practice project management methodologies and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

• 3–10 years' experience in Project Management, ICT Delivery, or related project leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects within government, defence, or large enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and governance requirements
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate multiple delivery partners
• Experience applying project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid delivery frameworks
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools

Desirable Qualifications

• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager (CPPM) and/or Certified Senior Project Manager (CPSPM)
• Certificate IV, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Project Management
• Other relevant project delivery certifications
